why grace?

How it all started...

To Grip something means: “the act of grasping; to seize and hold fast to; a firm grasp; and to hold the interest of.” Imagine, if someone walked up to you and tried to kidnap your child, there is no possible way anyone could take them from you, because in that situation, you would tightly grip them and never want to let go.
This very picture is how Grace Community Church believes God is gripping onto each and every one of us. Our mission is to walk alongside those who attend our church and help them not only deepen their understanding of this undeserving grace, but to also encourage and teach them in how to share that grace, and the Gospel, with others in their lives. Those who have tasted this grace will never be the same! Because we have been brought to our knees with the truth of our sinfulness, this Grace given to us has gripped our hearts and has not, and will not, let go.
Our relationship with Christ begins with Grace, is saturated with grace in all that we do in living for Him, and, ultimately, finishes with grace. This message of “Gripped by Grace” has led us to believe and experience, with our own eyes, the incredible truth that “Grace Changes Everything.” It is what characterizes our church and the individual lives that are connected to and with us, as we have experienced this message from Him and from each other!
We invite you to join us on this journey of understanding and embracing grace. From the foundation of the church in Acts, we are called to journey through this life together, leaning on God and each other as we seek and love the lost in our broken world. Everyone is welcome at Grace Community Church.

join us!

We would love for you to join us for three Sundays to experience this grace for yourself. We promise, you won’t be disappointed. We look forward to seeing you Sunday.
And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.
